The Moon Loungers

The Moon Loungers are Bristol and the South West’s premier wedding band.

They boast a huge repertoire of covers from across the decades, and are unique in their ability to provide music throughout an entire wedding day: as an acoustic duo they can provide relaxing and atmospheric tunes during the ceremony, drinks reception or wedding breakfast; as a 3-piece band they will pack the dance floor in the evening and make the party a truly memorable occasion.

The business is family run, Uncle Al dealing with bookings in a friendly manner and cousins Steve and Chris representing the acoustic duo (and two thirds of the evening band!). With old school friend Stu on drums, the boys pride themselves on being a real band and not just a collection of session musicians.

A high quality of service is provided, with meetings taking place with couples in the build up to the big day, and a great deal of attention to detail is given to each client. With over 250 weddings under their belts, the Moon loungers understand every aspect of a wedding day, and are able to advise brides and grooms on the best approach to their wedding music whilst also offering a flexible and personalised service to cater for any special requirements the couple may have.

The Acoustic Duo

The Moon Loungers acoustic duo will help to set the mood and tone for a wedding. During the ceremony they will play ballads as guests assemble, as the bride enters, during the signing of the register and as the happy couple exit. They are also experts at performing in the drinks reception and can additionally provide background music during the wedding breakfast.

The Evening Band

For the evening party, Steve swaps acoustic guitar for bass and Chris plugs in his electric guitar; with Stu on drums and additional vocals the boys provide upbeat, vibrant live entertainment with a range of covers that will keep everyone entertained and glued to the dance floor.

Disco Service

The boys also provide an excellent disco service for the periods during which they are not playing live, and come with state-of-the-art lighting and sound equipment.

Wedding Favours

The Moon Loungers even offer couples the option of purchasing wedding favours to give to their guests. These come in the form of 3-track CDs featuring a selection of love songs performed by the acoustic duo.
